The annual Russian Nationalists' march took place on November 4th, the Day of National Unity, in Lyublino, a bedroom community of Moscow. More than 7000 demonstrators took part in the march through several Moscow districts, finally assembling at the Solider of Fatherland Square. This year the Russian Nationalists' March drew not only Russian Nationalists from different organizations, but many ordinary residents of Lyublino, who actively partook in the March.
Many of them are angered by how their community is quickly turning into an immigrant ghetto, complete with Chinese markets, as new immigrants continue to pour into the Russian Capital. These immigrants, most of them illegal, contribute to crime, money-laundering and tax evasion, the dirtiness of Lyublino, not to mention the destruction of the ancient indigenous Russian culture that they bring.
The March was organized by the Movement Against Illegal Immigration (DPNI) and the Slavic Union (SS).
